"The Cypress product is Newmar's most attractive and affordable fifth wheel yet," said Jeff Cripe, Newmar's Director of Towable Sales. "With all of its features, quality, and innovation there will be no other towable product in the market that can offer customers what the Cypress does for the price."
The Cypress features its "Great Eights" - eight interior features and eight exterior features that are standard on every Cypress product. Some of the "Great Eights" include a 15K air conditioner featuring Newmar's Total Comfort Central Air Conditioning System, "Super Storage" bedroom wardrobe with two full-width shoe racks and top-shelf cedar lining, kitchen pantry with sliding/adjustable drawers, sewer hook-up light, one-piece fiberglass shower with glass enclosure, and dark-tinted, safety-glass windows.
The Cypress also utilizes a 12" I-beam frame, 5/8" structurewood floor decking, aluminum-frame sidewalls and roof construction built 16" on center, BriteTEK roof with "walkable" decking and radius aluminum wrap, enclosed holding tanks with ducted heat and fiberglass insulation, and an aluminum underbelly laminated to 5/8" foam. The Cypress suspension consists of MOR/ryde Rubber Equalizers with shock absorbers and wet bolts, and E-Z lube axles for improved handling.
The Cypress interior has a warm, soft, and friendly appeal. The entertainment center features a 27" color TV with remote, a surround sound system with a DVD player, CD player, and AM/FM tuner. Other interior features such as a Hide-A-Bed sofa with two footrests, a "Super Slider" free-standing dinette table with two chairs (two folding chairs are optional), two rocker/recliners, and an end table (where applicable) complete the living area.
In addition, the Cypress utilizes Lumbercore cabinetry with hardwood raised panel, cathedral overhead cabinet doors, and laminate countertops with Oak edging. A large open-bath arrangement forms the entry to the stunningly well-appointed bedroom filled with storage space.
Stylish graphics, Filon fiberglass exterior sides, innovative front and rear caps, and a molded gooseneck area give the Cypress an exterior look like no other. The Cypress provides extensive exterior storage, which will more than satisfy most any cargo requirement. The running gear consists of G-range 16" Goodyear tires. A 16" undermounted spare tire is conveniently and easily accessible by using the Cypresses' standard lift kit. Tank capacities include a 75 gallon fresh water tank, a 84 gallon grey tank, and a 42 gallon sewage tank |
